Blaze strikes Soho hotel

A fire broke out at a Soho hotel on Saturday afternoon.

Six fire engines and 30 firefighters were called to the blaze in Mandeville Place, at around 1.15pm.

The fire, which damaged ducting from the basement to the roof, was under control by 3.20pm.

Crews from Soho, Euston, Clerkenwell and Lambeth fire stations were at the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
