Christmas comes early to Victoria

Christmas could be coming early to Westminster Cathedral.

Westminster Council has received a planning application from the cathedral, in Ambrosden Avenue, to put up two Christmas trees on the flat roof at the front of the building.

The cathedral, which is built on the site of an old prison, was completed in 1903, eight years after the foundation stone was laid.
