Pimlico girl faces the snip
A brave Pimlico girl who has never had a haircut is facing the chop.
Eight-year-old Charlie Frost of St Gabriel's Primary School, in Churchill Gardens Road, will have inches taken off her hair in a bid to raise money for Children in Need.
The managers of Toni and Guy, in Sloane Square, have offered to cut her hair on Monday for free when they heard about Charlie's brave fundraising attempt.
Charlie's mother Julie Frost said: "I'm so proud of her, she's never done anything like this before.
"We were watching Children in Need and she said she wanted to help the children who needed money more than her."
"Because I've got long hair too, my friends and family have asked whether I'd do it to so we'd be able to double the money. Maybe next year," she joked.
Charlie has raised £997 so far, needing just £3 to push her up to the £1,000 mark.
