New members are needed to join a Pimlico fencing club.

The Swash and Buckle fencing club, in Regency Street, offers classes on Monday and Wednesday evening for a variety of levels including beginners' and children's sessions.

The club was founded in 1992 by film and theatre fight director Wiliam Hobbs.

The club's patron is Gene Wilder, Hollywood actor and director, and the club was originally set up as a development from the Actors' Union Equity.
