Motorcyclists are threatening to paralyse sections of London's road network today in a protest over Westminster Council's trial of parking charges.

Around 1,000 bikers are expected to descend on the heart of the capital during this evening's rush hour creating major delays for motorists and commuters on their journeys home from work.

Three 'hidden gems' in Westminster have been named among the top 10 in London, according to a recent survey.

Walking along the canal at Little Venice, in Maida Vale, tops the list of the best free places to discover in London, with Regent's Park in fifth place and St James's Park in eighth.

Bishop meets Pimlico children
