London's largest winter event is returning to Hyde Park for six weeks of festive fun this Christmas.

Winter Wonderland, featuring rides, atrractions and games as well as the largest open air ice rink in central London and a 50 metre observation wheel, opens from November 21 to January 3, 2010.

The theme park also boasts the most atmospheric German Xmas Market in the country, with over 60 individual Tyrolean-style chalets selling unique & quirky gifts, overlooked by central London's only Rollercoaster.

New for 2009, visitors can enjoy Zippo's Christmas Circus in its very own heated big top with a show especially created for Winter Wonderland.

A free Father Christmas which Time Out named 'Best Outdoor Experience' will be welcoming children with a surprise gift.

Bratwurst sausages & continental beer, steaks & Gluwein are amongst the offerings in the Bavarian Village, the House of St Nicholas and the two-storey Café Grell.

Amongst the other heated cafes and bars are culinary delights closer to home by way of hog-roasts, pies, hot cider & real ale.

Advanced tickets for the ice rink, giant wheel and circus are on sale at www.hydeparkwinterwonderland.com

Other attractions operate on a pay-as-you-ride basis, with prices starting at £2 for under 12s and £3 for those aged 12 and over.

The Winter Wonderland will be open from 10am to 10pm each day, except Christmas day.

We'd like to hear from you.
