What's on in North Paddington

Check out what's going on in North Paddington over the next few weeks.

*Discover more about the history of the area with fun activities for all the family, at Paddington Arts, in Woodfield Road, on January 30 from noon to 4pm.

Hosted by the London Transport Museum and North Paddington local history experts, there will be information stalls, books for sale and the chance to share stories
.
The event also kick starts a six-week course researching the history of Westminster's canals.


*A tour of landmark local pubs steeped in history will be hosted by the North Paddington History Group, on February 14 from 1pm to 5pm.

The story of each venue will be told along the way - including The Chippenham, The Elgin, The Skiddaw and The Grand Union.

The walk begins at the Neeld Arms, in Harrow Road, and ends at The Elgin, in Elgin Avenue.

The event is free and open to all.


* Master the art of paper folding with a special origami workshop at the Harrow Road Neighbourhood Partnership, in Harrow Road, on February 5.

The free session, led by co-ordinator Lynn, runs from noon to 1.30pm.

Light refreshments will be served, and everyone is welcome.


* Learn how to knit while chatting to friends at a new Knitting over a Natter course, starting at the Harrow Road Neighbourhood Partnership, in Harrow Road, on February 11.

Materials will be provided at the sessions, which runs from noon to 2pm.
