ST JOHN'S WOOD: The archery event at the London 2012 Olympics has been given the official go-ahead to be held at Lord's cricket ground.

Temporary seating will be set up to allow up to 5,000 spectators to attend.

Planning permission to stage the event was given by Westminster Council's planning committee on Thursday last week.

The event will run from July 27 to August 3, with 128 competitors involved.

We'd like to hear from you.
