MARYLEBONE: Visual effects expert Rick Leary, who has worked on films including Sherlock Holmes and Harry Potter, will give a talk about his experiences at Marylebone Library in Marylebone Road, on November 18.
The CGI supervisor will also show what goes into creating illusions on the big screen.

NORTH PADDINGTON: Young people are set to take to the stage at a winter show at Paddington Arts, in Woodfield Road, on December 9 and 10.
Tickets for the show, which will include singing and dancing performances, are available on the door for ã3 for adults and ã2 for under 12s.
