Grosvenor Court MansionsA toddler was seriously injured after falling out of a window at a block of flats in Edgware Road.

The 14-month-old girl tumbled from the first floor flat in Grosvenor Court Mansions, close to Marble Arch, at around 8.25pm on Friday.

She suffered head injuries and was taken to hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition.

Reports have claimed that the toddler's parents knew nothing of the accident until police knocked on their door.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "Police were called to reports of a child fallen from a window of a flat in Grosvenor Court Mansions at about 8.25pm on Friday.

"Officers and paramedics attended. The baby has been transferred to a specialist hospital.

"We are satisfied that this is a non-suspicious incident and there is no further cause for police action."

We'd like to hear from you.

I was there when it happened I was one of the First aiders there along with a Police woman and a gentleman, tending to the baby whilst waiting for Paramedics...

Unfortunatley the parents were un-aware of the fall, the father came shopping to find police and paramedics tending to his child...

Hat's off to the met police and the London Ambulance crews... they were very efficient and thorough in their profession.

I hope the baby makes a full recovery, she is 13months old

My parents used to live at this address, in the 1960's-90's, but London has changed a lot since then.
