Health sessions for Westminster kids

WESTMINSTER: Parents who have concerns about their child's eating behaviour, physical activity levels or weight are invited to join a free 10-week family-focused programme.

The Kickstart course, run by a paediatric dietician, nutrition assistant and physical activity instructor, centres on nutrition education, cooking skills and physical activity for children aged six to 12.

Programmes are available in the south of the borough at St Saviour's church hall, in St George's Square, Pimlico, and in the north of the borough at the Stowe Centre, in Harrow Road, Westbourne Green, in the week beginning January 2.

To attend either course, children must attend with a parent or carer, and either live in Westminster, attend a Westminster school or be registered with a Westminster GP.

To find out more, call the Kickstart team on 020 7641 7471 or email phoebe.kalungi@westminster-pct.nhs.uk.

We'd like to hear from you.
