Help to trace family history
WESTMINSTER: Westminster residents who want to trace their family history are invited to events at three libraries in January.
Westminster library services has teamed up with Family History Detectives to provide free access to computers and online resources including www.ancestrylibrary.com.
The project will be launched with initial information and taster sessions on January 14.
Paul Wilkins will be at Pimlico Library in Lupus Street from 10am to 11am, at Paddington Library in Porchester Road from 12.30pm to 1.30pm and St John's Wood Library in Circus Road from 3pm to 4pm.
Six-week courses, aimed at those beginning to trace their family history, are due to start on Thursdays from January 19.
The sessions cost £40.
