Schoolchildren visit refurbished cinema
More than 80 schoolchildren were invited to visit a newly refurbished cinema at Whiteleys shopping centre.

Odeon has just completed redecorating its screens at the centre in Bayswater, and invited youngsters from Hallfield School in Westminster to a free screening of Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked 3D.
The work has meant full digital and 3D capability in all four screens, new premier seating, disabled access, and a refurbished snack area.
Sarah Kiernan, a teacher at the school on the Hallfield Estate, said: "We were delighted when Odeon Whiteleys invited us to visit the newly re-opened cinema.
"The timing couldn't have been better as Year three are currently learning about the animal kingdom, so the opportunity to see this particular film turned out to be an educational experience too."
