Public meeting on Westminster police station closures

Posted by Poppy Bradbury on Jan 25, 13 09:00 AM in News

A road show outlining plans to close three police stations in the borough takes place next week.

Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime Stephen Greenhalgh and Assistant Commissioner Simon Byrne will talk through proposals at the Salvation Army in Regent Hall, Oxford Street, on Thursday (31) from 5-6pm.

Harrow Road, St John's Wood and Marylebone stations are facing closure while Paddington Green and Belgravia could have their 24-hour services reduced.

Residents have until March 6 to answer an online question. For more information, visit www.london.gov.uk.
