MARYLEBONE: A locksmith has been jailed for four years after taking advantage of residents by breaking down doors when they were locked out and massively overcharging for installing new locks.

Mark Makowski, 40, who operated Pronto Locks Ltd with a business address based in New Cavendish Street but was actually based in Hertfordshire, was convicted of 15 counts of fraud at the Old Bailey earlier today.

A drug dealer was jailed after he was caught supplying cocaine to undercover police officers at a Marylebone brothel.

While working as a driver and promotional manager for Club Sakura, a nightclub in Mayfair, Abdul Hasib, 37, agreed to supply the class A drug to the officers who posed as customers.
